Other than these sensors, there are 10 of the same infrared sensors in the front of this unit. These are included to help the unit detect obstacles in front and on the sides of the product as it does its cleaning.

Also, we found an issue with the alarm that is supposed to let you know the unit is stuck. There have been times where the alarm didn't sound at all. Also, there were times where the alarm was so quiet that it did not alert its owner to the fact it had gotten stuck.

Lastly, the cleaning pattern of this unit is very erratic and random. This may leave some areas cleaner than others, and that sort of defeats the purpose.
